Terms of sale
The terms on which we sell goods through this website.
Last updated: 22 September 2026.
1. Who we are
This website, arshadacc.shop, is operated by ARSHAD & CO. ACCOUNTANCY LTD, a company registered in Scotland, trading as ARSHAD & CO. (“we”, “us”). Our company number and registered office are on the Legal information page. You can contact us at support@arshadacc.shop or +44 7956993778.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on this website. Please read them before ordering; you will be asked to accept them at checkout. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described; nothing in these terms affects those rights.
3. Our products
We sell desk stationery: ledgers and notebooks, folders and document wallets, desk organisers, desk pads and mats, and filing boxes. Each product page describes the item, its format or size and its material. Photographs show the product; colours can look slightly different on different screens, and props in desk photographs are not included. Natural materials such as bamboo, cork and kraft card vary slightly in grain and shade.
4. Prices
Prices are set in US dollars. Prices in euros, pounds sterling and Canadian dollars are converted by us at fixed rates, as explained under Payment & currencies, and the currency code is shown with every price. The delivery charge is added at checkout and shown before you pay. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added by us. Import duties, taxes and customs fees charged by the destination country are not included and are payable by the recipient; see Duties & customs.
Where a product shows a reduced price, the crossed-out price is the price at which it was offered on this site immediately before the reduction. If we have made an obvious error in a price, we will tell you and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
5. Placing an order
Add items to your bag, go to checkout, enter your details and choose “Place order and pay”. Before you confirm, you can review and correct your order. We send an e-mail acknowledging your order. The contract between us is formed when we e-mail you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order — for example because an item is out of stock — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
6. Payment
You pay when you place your order, using the payment options shown at checkout. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us. Payment is taken in the currency shown at checkout.
7. Delivery
Goods are packed and sent by our supplier partners and may be dispatched from outside your country. Delivery charges and typical times are set out under Shipping & delivery. Times are estimates. If we cannot dispatch within the time stated, we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund. The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you gave us.
8. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days after the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason. How to cancel, what is refunded and a model cancellation form are set out under Cancelling an order. You can also cancel online using our withdrawal form.
9. Returns and faulty goods
In addition to your right to cancel, you may return unused items within 30 days of delivery as described under Returns & refunds. If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, tell us and we will repair, replace or refund them in line with your legal rights.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We sell goods for domestic and private use; if you buy for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption, and our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the order. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, customs checks, severe weather or strikes. If such an event delays your order, we will tell you, and you may cancel for a refund of anything paid for goods not yet received.
12. Complaints
Please write to support@arshadacc.shop with “Complaint” in the subject. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 14 days.
13. Your personal data
We use your personal data as described in our Privacy notice.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and may bring proceedings in the courts of your country.
15. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those shown on this site when you placed it.
